Principal, Private Client Advisor
Joni is a director of business development, concentrating her efforts on creating opportunities across the platform, including the Private Client Group, FLP Atrato Consulting, and Darwin Trust. Joni has over 25 years of experience at major Boston financial institutions in various roles including portfolio management, private banking, and business development. Joni collaborates with individuals, family offices, and their advisors to assemble the most appropriate team to meet the clients’ goals. On the institutional side, she works with nonprofits to help them achieve their investment and fundraising goals and partners with her colleagues across the organization, representing the full array of FLP Atrato Consulting’s multi-disciplinary resources, with particular emphasis on independent registered investment advisors, enterprise-level wealth management platforms, and single and multi-family offices.
As an alumna of Bank of Boston, Fleet Bank, and State Street Global Advisors, her network is deep in the NE market. Joni was a founder of the Women’s Fund of Essex County, a donor advised fund at the Essex County Community Foundation that supports disadvantaged women and girls. She was also appointed as an inaugural member of the Essex County Commission on the status of women, which works to improve the lives of women and girls through research, advocacy, and political forums.
Joni attended ABA National Trust School and is a registered investment advisor representative.
